~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The Long Long Poetry~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A pretty sunset,bleeding red,sits at the window by my long long bed The sunset is so cold and dead, just like me in my long long bed The coldness seeps from my blankets,which are frozen with ice and time. The walls surrounding me are color of blood so pure and red, they smother me in my long long bed,Which is made of lime. I think of death and stare at the sun, on my long long bed the blood begins to run. Bright and cold,the blood runs ,un-clotted by the living.I can't get out!I feel as though I weigh a ton. I give up the struggle and lay down to die, on my long long bed I shall say goodbye.
pretty snow,bloody and dead...rotting at the foot of my long long bed the snow is dying, like I said, it shouldn't have sat on my long long bed It's snowy flesh is rotting,decaying and dead,I suppose it sat to long under my long long bed It's snow white fingers claw my head, I try to flee from my long long bed I cannot escape!My life is doomed!on my long long bed I lie..entombed. I scream, and cry, no help arrives! on my long long bed I am no longer alive.
The trees along the path at night, Are green and beautiful in the starlight. The spiralling heavens drift down to the path,greeted by leaves sparkling with dew. I walk along and breath deeply, above me I heard a sleeping dove's coo. I look to the sky, and what I behold is a moon so blue. Tired and weary,I travel on,breathing in the sweet scent of the lawn. I lay down to sleep upon the grass, by a pond as still as a looking glass. Though it may seem absurd, that night I was lulled to sleep by the mockingbird. I dreamt of all things fair,as I was ensnared to sleeps lair. I awoke with the sun and gazed at the trees, dancing softly in the gentle breeze.
Color drains, blood stains,confusion reigns above them all, it has been a long long time since I have stood tall. I need help, I want to hide, but it's been a long long time since time was on my side. A great hero, clad in silver and holding a blade, with a great steed for his ride. And then I think of Gabriel, tied to a cart. It's been a long long time since I've seen that part. A long long time I wait,hiding in the shadows,for this is an art.
Cheerful confetti bloody and red,is tossed in the air above my long long bed. I grab a knife and stab it down, I hate it as much as I'd hate to drown. The blood spills over my hands,down my face and hair. People tell me I shouldn't kill it, I say I don't care. The blood cakes,I wander over to the mirror,I don't see myself,and can do nothing but stare. I brush off the blood, crusted and black, but the stain remains. I am pulled back to the bed,against my will,I look to the window,where it solemly rains. The days will pass,as they have gone before.I look forward to nothing , there is nothing in store.
Pretty crystals,bloody red,sit at the foot of my long long bed. They are cracked, dry and dead, dirtying the sheets of my long long bed. Tossing and turning,they whirl around my head,while I lie on my long long bed. I turn away to escape the sight, on my long long bed I must spend the night. It won't let me go,It won't let me leave.My long long bed I want to heave! It's getting faster, I scream out loud, on my long long bed I wear a shroud. The cosmic dementions refuse to let me be dead.So for eternity I must lie on my long long bed.
There's a bouquet of roses that's been here a long long time The bottle is beginning to get encrusted with lime. I've washed away the crusts of time,the ever lasting guilt and slime. The roses, through the rot, are a deep scarlet, blood red.
Pretty clocks all grotesque,sit on top of my long long desk, The clock clicks off the seconds slow, I place on my long long desk a bow The seeds of time need to be planted,I shall at noon them sow The seedlings they will live, if I water give. Indeed they shall live,for much water I have to give,though sun is not at hand. And so I shall leave my long long desk, and go and till the land.
pretty roses,KILL to me they said!As I hid under the covers of my long long bed, I grabbed a knife and thought of red, and I arose from my long long bed. I stood up and stabbed myself,blood dripping down my front,pure and red,as a I fell on my long long bed. As out my body the life fled, I wished I hadn't listened to the roses by my long long bed. My last thought,was of the roses,and what they had said,as I died that night in my long long bed. "It's time to kill," to me they said. "Kill she who lays in the long long bed." And now I wish I had pictures by my long long bed instead.
Pretty flowers,dripping with blood,at the end of the long long bed,wallow in mud. The flowers were purple, now they are red, I flee from the blood on my long long bed. I fled the long long bed,it's coming after me,huge claws drift out snaking there way to see. I try to hide, but it sees all. My long long bed makes me feel small. I am cornered,lost in a world of terror.I crash out a window,into the hall. Faces stare, they can't perceive, the things I've been forced to believe. I become enthralled with the grim pasty faces,my legs bolted to the spot,I cannot leave. My long long bed will catch me soon, and that I think will be me doom.
The waves wash around in crimson red, I lay adrift on my long long bed. I drift down under the waves,down to the darkness,the sand brushes my head. I struggle up but the depths pull me down.My eyes open,I stand peaceful, drifting, I watch the golden reef with it's coral crown. My life slips away as I struggle for breath, into the cold unfeeling dark. Awash in fate,I fade away.The landscape cold and stark.
I was tired,I was beat... I went to the long long bed and had a seat, so stressful was this day. I want to take a rest, I want to do what's best, I want to get away. But the long long bed compells me to stay! I want to escape from the long long bed, and from that horrid thing it said. The long long bed,it whispers to me. The things it wants,are the things I see. I can't escape,but I try none-the-less. The long long bed is calling me! I reply "I'm running away from thee!" I must get out of this awful mess.
